i voted to end the set on September 19th. But i believe the set should end sooner (in 1 week maybe).
Revenger, if you plan to end this set on September 29th as you said, it will have no difference to finish the set even tomorrow. Either you should give other gangs a period of at least 3-4 months in order to try to reach us, or the set should end asap.
One way or another, we need a quick final decision, because this issue affects significantly our strategy.
If you decide to end this set in September, we should make a civil discussion about how to make this game more competitive.

As other gangs power raise, so does mig...could go on for another year but as long as mig is active, no one will catch up

in response to antonis, the game will only be more competitive next set if the other gangs are smarter and more organized and keep up with MIG from the get-go. once MIG gets a good enough lead, there's no looking back and no catching them. yes, all the top-ranked players are in MIG and yes, those same players will more than likely reform in MIG next set... but there's nothing so special or magical about them that they will automatically do better than everyone else... what it is is that these players have a solid understanding of the game and know exactly which crimes are best for them to do to raise cash and levels quick so that they can get off to great solo starts and then they come together quickly and organized for the gang crimes, hitting your BLCB all the time once they're capable of doing it.

technically, any of those other gangs could do the exact same thing if the players played with enough strategy. but since nobody starts off knowing everything, it would be up to a competent gang leader to make sure that gang does what it needs to do. it's as simple as that.

I'm sure gangs 2-5 also have a piece of what it needs... but they probably don't have the part where they can have 3 teams doing BLCB all the time... or even if they have that NOW, they didn't soon enough, and that's why they have no hope of catching MIG at this point.

Well, you and all the others that joined these last days are the ones to benefit more from the set ending. You really have nothing to loose from it, instead you have the opportunity to learn a good deal of the mechanics of the game for a good start once the next set begins and a good chance to compete with the best so far. Who knows, perhaps you'll be the next set's winner.

right and you musn't think of it like the game ending. it won't be over or finished or anything like that... it's just that the characters will all reset and start anew. everyone gets clean slates and gets to try again on even ground with one another from the start.

if not for this sytem, people like who would just joined would never be able to compete with those who have been playing for months already.

The only thing you will have from this set will be any fame you have accumulated. If you are supporter, you will also get to keep your name without the risk of anyone else nabbing it first.

It is this time of the year that the game needs to reset. This means that all players will start again from scratch.

The day the game will reset is after the daily update of Thursday 18 September, at September 19 0.00 Game time. This means that at 18 September you will do your final moves in this set.

New set will begin almost immediately: No later than September 19 12.00 Game time the game will be again open to everyone.
