Who cares if someone knows it was you or not. If you have good defenses and money to replace your losses, you will be alright.

See now I'm confused... even if you bought a Training Ground, you can't actually BUILD it without the plans from the architect, right? there's no way around that is there? so even if you have enough money to buy the training ground, it's useless to you unless you can either do the needed crimes or buy the proofs needed to get the plans or steal the proofs (or even plans)

Stealing the plans is the best idea for someone not in a gang. If you also suck at robbing other players then you really are in a tight spot.

well, Metus... I know 2 kinds of effective builds. 1 for fighting and 1 for robbery. however, I (due to someone's bad advice) didn't end up with either of them. instead of using one of the combinations I had figured out myself, I went with someone else's judgment that completely ruined my build in my opinion. having to do it again, there's only 2 possible sets of 3 specialties I would ever use, and the rest, I would just ignore.

In my experience there are all sorts of surprising ways to play this game well. I have seen people with extremely unlikely combinations of specialties carve themselves a niche in this game. I think some combinations are harder to play than others. There might be some that are downright unplayable, but that is the exception rather than the rule, IMHO. I am rather surprised actually to see that a lot of people on this game copy other people's builds without taking into consideration that there is more than one way to skin the proverbial cat :).

My suggetsion would be to join a gang. IF you have a gang.. find a better one? lol
You can (A) Send your horse to someone with training ground. Which is the best option, imo.
And (B) Attempt to acquire proofs with gang help to start one.

Taking care of your horse and managing your breedery/training ground is hard without assistance of a gang.
Never wanted anymore than what i deserve, better bring it, cause i'm taking it all!
