You are an ebil guy . What if I don't want antonis' help? What if this is a message clearly intended for antonis? Wow, now that I think about it . . . the possibilities are endless.

Your question is not clear. Gang crimes have a deadline of 3 days in order to be completed. if you complete the gang crime from the first day (same conditions stand for solo crimes), take a look at the helpfiles, in the "actions sequence" part.
If you wish to complete the gang crime in the second or third day, and an item is stolen from the player that created the gang crime, the crime will go through as if you still had it. You won't fail, as long as you have chosen the correct items.

FYI,
this stands for horse feature too. if you have a horse in a race, and before the race is completed, your horse is stolen, you will still get the money from the race(if you finish in 1st,2nd or 3rd place).
