The idea in general includes a number of available facilities/upgrades (or simply named as wonders) which will be available to the gangs. They will be purchased for a standard sum which will double every time one wonder is purchased. Up to 3 wonders perhaps will be the maximum selection.
Now, some common examples could be 10% more cash from crimes or 10% more xp or 10% specialization boost, or 10-20% cost deduction in upgrading secondary statitics etc. There could be wonder also affecting rob another player features or mob costs-cuts etc. We can also have wonders that are needed for specific industries.
I know some may find the idea bad for solo players but the game is intended to be multiplayer. We might create a solo server some time afterwards for those that want to go solo. Before this can happen, the rob another player feature will need to be perfected.
Finally, you need to know that gang wonders are integral part of the game future (you must have noticed an open space in the table in manage gang. This was destined for the gang wonders as they would be released alongside with the full game but there was simply not enough time.

The cleared cash generated from the whole business is a lot but since the whole system needs much in order to function, the final earnings are around 10% of the initial ammount. The people working on it are getting paid through the dirty money so this is not an issue for you.
