Total Crimes

General Discussion about the game goes here

The current idea is that:
-BLCB cash reward will drop considerably.
-Same for intimidate someone rich
and
-When you do a crime for a second time in a row in the same day, the ammount you earn will be halved.

This will make the game a bit more challenging but also more interesting.

There are right now 65 crimes available. How many can you solve and how many can you solve without your notes ? ;)

I can solve almost all of them, but not without my notes :).

not necessarily. I tried it with a driving mobster solo and tried it with a fellow gangmate with driving speciality. I failed in both cases, but got a higher score solo. the gangmate I tried it with was able to do it successfully with another gangmate using the exact same combination of items except the car used in my attempt was a step down.

I've been doing the crime with the fastest purchasable car though... so if you can't do it without the absolute fastest car in the game (which things seem to be pointing towards), then not everyone can do it, because not everyone can get that car.

pretty sure. the top 5 players this set all have over $300 million there isn't a great consistency with their levels, though... some are 60+, while others are only 40+ If you're getting a significant amount more money out of your crimes, you won't be missing the lessened XP that much because the money will be boosting your rank quite considerably.

Incorrect. The mobster's cut doesn't work directly off the crime. What happens is that the total income of all crimes that day are added up and then all of the percentages of all mobsters in your possession's cuts are added up and that percentage is taken out.

In other words, the actual report on the crime will still show the full amount you'd get, because the cut is taken out later. Even if it did show the earnings minus the cut already on the news of the crime result, I still won't lose more than half of what I should receive because my mobters in total only take 31%.

your wrong on almost everything you said, you can indeed do mascot with someone if they have all the specialties needed to complete it.

Your cut is indeed taken out from the crime details, and holy shit 31 percent is alot.

When you start getting high amounts of cash and higher more powerful treasure items the balance shifts

Logically, you should be able to do the mascot crime with ease so long as you have all the needed specialities, but as far as I know, that didn't happen for me. It's very possible that I'm missing a specialty somewhere, but I was told what specialties are needed by a person who completed and I saw the gang crime setup of one attempt that I saw complete successfully prior to it starting and mimiced that setup almost completely, yet didn't even really come close in my attempt *shrug* the only thing I can figure is that the people who completed the crime successfully actually did it wrong, but just got lucky enough to get enough points to get counted as successful, but I didn't have the same luck, so I failed.

I still think it's strange though that I get more points doing it solo with a driving mobster than with a partner who has driving as one of his three specialites. Logically, the partner's other 2 specialties would either help or do nothing. I dunno why it goes lower...

and is 31% really a lot? that's the lowest cut I could possibly manage with the mobsters I would need to complete my regular crimes. I've only got like 8 mobsters too... I wanted to have 5 to guard my house as well, but that would have made the cut like 56% instead o.O

guess I'm just not picky enough? *shrug* once I see 20 in the primary attribute for the speciality I want, I grab.

aw well... it's not like it matters much at this point. I'll be doing everything completley different net set, so maybe I'll actually be a decent player for once xp
