if you want to add an image you must copy images URL. Its kinds annoying. It would be easier if there would be a browse button.

i agree it is very frustrating trying to find an avatar image that is in the size range that has a url. This should be changed immediately

Typically, helper status is offered to qualified candidates without a prior request. I have not ever heard of a request for helper status from a player to be approved. Helpers are usually nominated as candidates by other helpers based on their contribution to the game and the forums. Then they are either approved or not approved based on the administators perception of the need. Just an FYI.
